Our Approach in Clinton Township
We review your skin and history, prepare PRP in the office, and pair it with SkinPen depth settings matched to each area.
PRP, Done Thoughtfully
PRP is made by drawing a small amount of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. Platelets contain growth factors involved in healing. During SkinPen microneedling, tiny controlled micro-injuries prompt the skin’s natural repair process, and PRP is applied to the skin as part of the treatment. Results build gradually over weeks, and a series of sessions is usually recommended.
Your visit includes a blood draw, PRP preparation, topical numbing and microneedling with SkinPen while PRP is applied. Expect redness similar to a sunburn for one to three days. PRP is prepared from your own blood, so allergic reactions to it are unlikely.
PRP with SkinPen supports gradual, natural improvement over a series of visits.
