Clearer, more even-looking skin.
DPL is an advanced, narrowband form of IPL (intense pulsed light). It uses a narrow band of light energy to target pigment and redness while supporting collagen. We can treat the full face or target individual spots of pigmentation, so you only treat the areas you need. At The Aesthetics Lounge & Spa in Clinton Township, IPL (DPL) is our light-based treatment for sun damage, brown spots and uneven tone. Serving Clinton Township and the surrounding Macomb County area.
A precise, narrow-band light treatment for pigment, redness and overall skin tone.
Who It’s For
Adults with sun spots, brown spots, redness or dull, uneven tone. Best suited to lighter skin tones; candidacy is confirmed at consultation.
What DPL Can Address
Sun spots and age spots, redness and visible capillaries, uneven tone and texture.
Our Approach in Clinton Township
We assess your skin type and sun history, then plan a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart.
DPL Photo-Rejuvenation
DPL is similar to IPL but uses a narrower, more targeted wavelength range. Light energy is absorbed by pigment and blood vessels in the skin, which helps fade brown spots and redness, while gentle heating supports collagen. Pigmented spots may darken temporarily before flaking away over one to two weeks. Most clients benefit from a series of treatments.
After cleansing, a cool gel is applied and you wear eye protection. The handpiece delivers quick pulses of light that feel like warm snaps. Treatment of the full face usually takes about 30 minutes.
A series of DPL treatments, plus daily sun protection, keeps tone looking even.
Narrow-Band Precision
More targeted than broad-spectrum light.
